EasyGen-320-X
The EasyGen-320-X is one of four modules available from Woodward, Inc in their easYgen-300 series of Genset controls. This series offers generator set controls, engine and generator protection, along with generator voltage measurement and engine crank sequencing. The EasyGen-320-X also offers a GCB circuit breaker, an MPU pickup input, and a CAN bus (J 1939 protocol.) This module offers password protection.
The EasyGen-320-X is designed with a front display panel (HMI) that includes several LED indicators, a seven digit alphanumeric display, and push buttons for on-site operation and configuration. Status LEDs will indicate such states as
-
GCB (generator circuit breaker) closed
-
Generator in operation
-
Engine in operation
-
Alarm message present
-
Engine in operation, but engine monitoring delay time not yet expired
-
Genset in automatic operation
-
Genset in manual operation
-
Genset stopped.
LEDs and the seven-segment display may be put through a function test by pressing the up and down arrows at the same time. Other information that can be displayed by this panel includes service hours, start counts, operating hours, monitoring of battery voltage and charger voltage, mains field rotation, engine over- and under speed, and start fail/charge fail.
The EasyGen-320-X has I/O sets of 1x generator voltage (1phase, a range of 120 to 480 Vac,) 3x mains voltage (3phase, a range of 120 to 480 Vac,) with 5x discrete inputs and 4x discrete outputs. More information about the operation, installation, and maintenance of this module can be found through publications from Woodward. This includes data sheets, manuals, and user guides.
