Control model 8440-1800 is produced by Woodward Inc and falls under the easYgen-300 series of Genset controllers. This model is just one of the many that AX Control Inc that we sell from our brand new surplus or from our refurbished secondhand inventory. It is important to note that before you do any kind of maintenance work on your control that you discharge the static electricity on your body to the ground by touching and grabbing onto metal objects that are grounded such as pipes and metal cabinets. You should also keep any objects that are made from vinyl, Styrofoam, or plastic away from the work area and especially the control at all times to avoid the build-up of static electricity. 

When you are connecting a magnetic pickup through the shielded wiring note that it needs to be connected through should be connected to a ground terminal through the shielding and should not be connected at the side of the cable connected to the magnetic pickup. The input frequency in relation to the magnetic pickup unit has to be limited to that of 14 kHz. 

Your control model is also enabled with a plethora of special EMR messages and there are nine different types of these EMR messages, type three and type four are low oil, type three is related to the oil pressure and will display low oil pressure while type four is related to the oil level and will display low oil level, both of these will be displayed on your control panel screen.
