Product Description

The easYgen-2300-5 is a component manufactured by Woodward as part of the easYgen-2000 series.  This series of compact Genset controllers with HMIs are designed as compact, affordable control/protection options to sync and load share up to sixteen generator sets in isolated (island operation) or in parallel operation of one unit with a utility.  

 In order to maintain proper spinning reserve while maintaining fuel efficiency, the easYgen-2300-5 can work with a mix of engine sizes. It has integrated load-dependent start/stop programming, which allows the end-user the flexibility to take generator sets on or offline as load demands change.

The easYgen-2300-5 works with several interfaces used within industrial settings. This includes but is certainly not limited to; Modbus RTU (PLC/HMI/SCADA.) and Profibus and Ethernet communication using dedicated gateways

The easYgen-2300-5 offers features like asynchronous and synchronous generator support, generator protection and mains monitoring, process-dependent start/stop logic, and boolean programmability via LogicsManager for complex systems control, and support of eleven separate languages, and standards. 

The easYgen-2300-5 is approximately 800 grams.  The dimensions of this control are 219 x 171 x 61 mm. The unit is CE marked and UL listed, with a Class 1 accuracy.  It has an operating temperature of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius in 95% ambient humidity, non-condensing.
