Product Description

The easYgen-2200-5 is part of the easYgen-2000 series from Woodward.  The easYgen-2200-5 is designed for generator set (Genset) control for multiple unit operations.  It offers protection/control for load sharing for up to sixteen Gensets in isolated operation (island) or parallel operation of a single unit with a utility.  The FlexApp(™) feature of this product allows configuration of the number of operated breakers: none, GCB (generator circuit breaker), and dual GCB and MCB (miniature circuit breaker.)  The unit also offers Boolean operators and programmable timers to allow modification of control and relay functions.

The easYgen-2200-5 is comprised of a plastic housing with an HMI display (LC display with softkeys,) an analog output and generator CT terminal, a Mains/generator/busbar PT terminal, a USB/RS-232 service port connector, relay outputs terminals, eight discrete inputs terminals, a CAN bus interface terminal, and MPU inputs.  

The easYgen-2200-5 has various operation modes, including auto, stop, manual, and Load/no-load test modes.  Breaker control includes open-close control, breaker monitoring, phase matching, and slip frequency. The unit offers remote control adjustments of speed, voltage, frequency, power, power factor set points, and reactive power via an interface and the system’s analog/discrete inputs. The unit supports eleven languages and can be configured via its front panel or by PC connection. It has multi-level password protection located on the front panel of the control.
