Product Description
The EasyGen 2000 series from Woodward is available for purchase here at AX Control INC. Not only do we sell this series but we also buy, repair, and refurbish the series of controls. One of the controls within the series is the 8440-1857 control. This control is powered by a battery/charging alternator and must be done so as the series has no isolated power supply from within the control.
When connecting a charging alternator to the control it will be connected through terminals fifty-two and fifty-three, fifty-three is also labeled as terminal A and terminal fifty-two is labeled as terminal B. The D+ (auxiliary excitation) output is connected to terminal B of the control, and the 8-40 Vdc (battery B+) is connected to terminal A.
While you are using the control and the 1Ph 3W the measuring range, specifically the maximum measuring range of the 1Ph 3W has two Vac ranges for wiring terminals fourteen, sixteen, eighteen, and twenty, the ranges will read 0-600 or 0-150. Make note that different voltage systems will have to use different terminals for wiring.
Take extreme caution when using the generator current of the control, before you disconnect the device you should make sure that the CT has been short-circuited or it will cause dangerously high voltages for a missing load.
If interested in purchasing this control you can inquire about the availability of this control, you may contact us by email or phone number. If for any reason your control needs to be repaired we offer a one to three-year warranty for the repairs.
