Product Description

EasyGen-400

The EasyGen-400 is used as a control unit for engine-generator management applications.  This module is part of Woodward Inc’s easYgen-100 genset controllers. These controllers can be used for simple Start/Stop applications. EasYgen controllers are stand-alone controllers with monitoring, measuring, and breaker control ability within a mountable housing.

The EasyGen-400 has an HMI front panel with a display and buttons for configuration inputs.  Remote access is also available through integrated interfaces. Password protection is available.   The front panel (480 x 272 LCD) includes a set of menu management and functionally defined buttons.  The HMI has LEDs for visualizing alarm states.

The EasyGen-400 has three main operation modes, including auto, manual, and stop.  The board also has an internal non-operating phase used when the device is starting up.   In Auto mode, the genset and breaker are under easYgen control. In this mode, Auto control can start and stop the engine as well as supply load by generator. In manual mode, the genset and breakers are independent of each other. The engine can still be managed as in Auto mode but without breaker control.  In stop mode, the breaker is open and the engine is not running.

The EasyGen-400 offers five digital input ports, six outputs, and three sensors.  The EasyGen-400 supports a number of languages, including English, Chinese, and Russian.  It is suitable for 3-phase 4-wire, 3-phase 3 wire, single phase 2-wire, and 2-phase 3-wire systems with voltage 120/240 V and a frequency of 50/60 Hz.
