This unit is from a Woodward series of Digital Synchronizer and Load Controls. It is designed for use with a Woodward speed control (or other compatible devices) and an automatic voltage regulator for paralleling, synchronizing, loading, and unloading three-phase AC generator sets. 

A few of the load control features of the 9905-704 DSLC control include:

• A frequency trimmer function for accurate frequency control in isochronous load sharing systems
• Simple load droop operation provides safe operation in parallel bus applications
• Adjustable load switch output with independent pick-up and drop-out points
• Load raise and lower inputs to adjust speed before synchronizing
• Voltage raise and lower inputs to adjust voltage before synchronizing

This unit has three-phase true RMS power sensing, ensuring accuracy even in the event of voltage fluctuations and unbalanced phase loading. The 9905-704 DSLC control has an input voltage rating of 240 Vac and a speed bias of +3.0 Vdc. This control is rated for operating temps from –40 to +70 °C (-40 to 158 F) and storage temps from –55 to +105 °C (-67 to 221 F).
