This unit is one of the several models in the Woodward DSLC units. The 9905-373 is available from our inventory of used industrial hardware, here at AX Control Inc. These DSLC models are built for digital synchronization and load sensing and control. The additional functionalities included in these units are process control, VAF/PF control, and dead bus system closure. This lineup was designed as a multipurpose, efficient, effective generator control unit.

The 9905-373 model is able to be installed into any AC, three-phase generator that has a similar control setup to attach it into. This model is designed to provide the options for both automatic slip frequency synchronization and phase matching. This unit operates the control abilities over its own network, a Local Operating Network (LON) in order to enable safe dead bus closure. It ties itself to the generator’s automatic voltage regulator in order to properly and accurately match the voltage levels before paralleling.

The 9905-373 is designed to sense the generator’s RMS power to provide efficient loading and unloading functions. It is also able to either provide base loading, or set import/export processing power levels against the generator, and distribute and share loads on isolated, multi-engine systems.

The standard Woodward specifications for the DSLC series apply to this model as well. It requires a safe environment to operate in, with a temperature range of -40 to 70 C, or -40 to 158 F.
