723 Series Model 9907-034 is a DSLC Digital Synchronizer and Load Control compatible Woodward Digital Speed Control unit. This controller is designed for generator set service with reciprocating engines. It is a high voltage model (90 to 150 Vdc (125 Vdc nominal) with a torsional filter that can be used in applications with flexible couplings.
Two LON channels and two serial ports offer several options for programming, adjusting, and monitoring functions and parameters. The DSLC can be tapped into via one of the LON channels, while the other can be used for Woodward LinkNet input/output nodes. The serial channels can interface to an HMI (or other Modbus master device), the Woodward Hand Held Programmer, or another ASCII character computer terminal, provided the terminal has an RS-422 serial port.

This manual also details the configurable parameters of model 9907-034 and the unit’s I/Os, some of which are configurable. The 9907-034 has both optically isolated discrete inputs and differential-type analog inputs.
This DSLC compatible 723 control with a torsional filter is also available in a low-voltage model (9907-033), as well as low- and high-voltage versions without the torsional filter (9907-031, 9907-032).
