This is the 9907-169 model, a unit belonging to the 505 and 505E series of devices. These units are designed for the digital control of turbines, though they are also able to handle small, utility setups of turbogenerators and turboexpanders.

The  505 and 505E line of control modules were designed and manufactured by Woodward Inc., the oldest leading manufacturer in America, responsible for the device available in AX Control Inc.’s inventory of reconditioned materials.

The 9907-169 is designed with an internal set of printed circuit boards, which are set in a protected enclosure that is able to be mounted within a control system panel. The 9907-169 is equipped with an integrated Operator Control Panel that is placed into the unit’s front panel. The OCP has a two-line display and allows operators to view the actual and setpoint values simultaneously on the screen. This screen is able to be configured in the field of the unit, and beneath the OCP, there is a set of 30 keys to input commands and information.

The 9907-169 is designed to notify operators of any possible system shutdowns and significantly reduce troubleshooting time.

There is an optional protective case that keeps the 9907-169 safe from any invasive dust or water vapor, as well as protected from a level of physical damage. This casing is graded with a NEMA 4X rating.
