Product Description
Load Sharing and Speed Control model 9905-036 from Woodward Incs 2301A series is a high voltage model forward acting model; the 9905-036 model is comprised of an individual actuator and runs on an actuator current of 0-20 mA. Before installation of the control connect the actuator, shield, and battery shielded cables to the magnetic pickup that will be connected to the control and prime mover. When connecting any type of power make certain that the wire that is being connected is an 18 AWG wire, the connection of any other wire can cause issues to the system and increase the possibility of malfunction.
If you wish to run the idle or rated ramp contact use a single-pole contact single throw switch that is connected to terminal five on the engine governor; open the contact for idle and close it for rated, typically pressure from engine oil will close the terminal. When the contact of the control is open the voltage from terminal five is deactivated and the speed of the engine begins to decelerate to the idle position.
Be cautious while running the control and engine, while using constant speed the engine refuses to maintain that speed check the actual engine if the engine is causing the issue the engine could not be producing the desired power needed for the fuel control and in turn kill the engine and evaluate the issue further.
