General

The 9905-036 is a high-voltage model of load sharing and speed control in the Woodward 2301A series. This unit uses a 0-20mA actuator current signal meant for use with special applications. This unit is designed for use with single actuator installations. The 9905-036 is a forward-acting model, so calls for fuel will be proportional to the detected voltage in the actuator. If no voltage is detected, the fuel level will be driven to empty.

System Features

The 9905-036 is simple and easy to operate, with all the potentiometers being accessible from the front of the system's chassis. These potentiometers control the different aspects needed to operate the system. They also provide compatibility for this system to be used with other devices such as SPM-A synchronizers or an external speed trim. This system works well with other Woodward devices such as the aforementioned synchronizers, certain actuators, automatic loading controls, and more.

Installation Information

The 9905-036 requires an external power source of 88-132VAC (50/60Hz) or 90-150VDC in order to operate. The unit is designed to withstand harsh environments and conditions like humidity, vibration, dust, and interference. The sheet metal housing around this unit is finished in a gloss powder. The unit as a whole is rated for 60 Gs of shock, 4 Gs/5-500Hz vibration, and temperatures between -40°C and 85°C.
