Summary

The 9905-035 is a high-voltage load sharing and speed control in the 2301A series from Woodward. This model is reverse-acting and uses a tandem actuator system with a current of 0-200mA. This model may be used in either isochronous or droop mode. A power input of 90-150VDC or 88-132VAC is needed to supply this unit. This unit is compatible with other Woodward devices such as the SPM-A series synchronizers.

Functionality

The 9905-035 has speed and load sensing capabilities to help it function. Load sensing can be accomplished by connecting current and potential transformers to the 90-240VAC 3Ø, 45-66Hz 3Ø input. For speed sensing, the 9905-035 uses a magnetic pickup with a minimum voltage of 1VAC and a maximum of 30VAC. The input impedance of this speed sensor input is between 100-300 ohms.

The 9905-035 uses 0-6VDC power for load sharing and has a load gain maximum of 6VDC at 5A of CT current. The 9905-035 is a good control if you are looking for a reverse-acting tandem actuator system. The detected voltage in the actuator system is inversely proportional to the calls for fuel.
