Product Description
Woodward INCs 2301A series is available at AX Control; the 9905-035 control unit is a reverse acting high voltage Load Sharing and Speed Control model with a dual actuator, the actuator current on this device is 0-200 mA. The actuator is connected to the control through terminals twenty and twenty-one when connecting the actuator to the control verify that the negative lead is connected to terminal twenty, and the positive lead is connected to terminal twenty-one; if you wish to connect two actuators the first actuator must be connected through terminal twenty-one and the second actuator must be connected through terminal twenty.
If after you have started the prime mover there is a problem with the fuel limit and must be adjusted document the voltage at the actuator terminals, proceed to shut down the engine, and activate the failed speed signal override by closing the contact that is associated with the override contact. Restart the engine and observe how long it takes for the engine to start, as well as the overshoot of the speed setting. You can also adjust the start fuel limit to optimize the start time of the engine.
The minimum fuel contact of this unit is connected through terminal seventeen, this contact should specifically be used when the failed speed signal occurs; the minimum fuel contact should never be used as an emergency stop sequence of the engine. When it pertains to the minimum fuel on reverse acting models if the actuator current is 20 to 160 mA the actuator current will be greater than 180 mA; if the actuator current reads 40 to 320 mA the current for minimum fuel should be greater than 360mA.
