Product Description
We here at AX Control INC offer a wide assortment of refurbished Woodward 2301A series controls. The 9905-031 model is a reverse-acting high voltage model. It has an individual actuator that has a 0-200 mA actuator current, this model is not offered with a deceleration ramp.
If the ramp time needs to be adjusted the potentiometer will be fully clockwise, which will be the maximum - be sure not to accidentally over-torque the pot and slowly begin to move the potentiometer back clockwise until the unit ramps as desired. It is crucial to note that most controls use a load gain voltage of 6 Vdc at full load. Controls with an actuator current between twenty and one-hundred-sixty mA, minimal fuel is described as a current less than 10 mA with controls that are forward acting and current greater than 180 mA with controls that are reverse acting.
The goal of the reset and gain potentiometer adjustment is to acquire the ideal stable prime-move response. When operating the control, adjusting the gain may cause possible changes in speed which can be reduced by rotating the potentiometer slowly. Terminal seventeen on the control is a contact that drives the output to minimal fuel when needed for shutdown. Under no circumstances should terminal 17 be used on high voltage models such as this model.
Note that when using high voltage models the internal current transfer absolutely needs to be attached across the source of power current transformers at every moment to prevent fatally high voltages.
