Product Description
Here at AX Control, we offer a wide variety of parts one of which includes the 9905-026 model from Woodward Inc. This specific model is low voltage sitting at 20-40 Vdc, with a single actuator. The 9905-026 model is reverse-acting and has an actuator current that sits at 0-200 mA. If connecting a speed trim or jumper device that is not in the internal structure of the control the shield is connected to terminals twenty-three and twenty-four.
Prior to installation of the control be sure that the power is off and check for grounds; this should be measured by taking the resistance of terminal eleven to the frame of the control and then from terminal fifteen to terminal eleven. Many of the settings on this control are set prior, be sure that the rest and gain potentiometer are both sitting in the mid position.
It is vital to the operation of this model that the current transformers installed within the device can acquire extremely high voltages, and never disconnect the transformer while the prime mover is being operated. During the installation of this control it is extremely important that you avoid all plastic materials, vinyl, and anything else that holds static electricity, also make sure to avoid the build-up of static on or around your body while around the circuit board.
If while operating the control and a failed speed signal override occurs through the control it should only be momentary to establish that the failed speed sensor circuit is implemented once the prime mover and control have started.
