Overview

The 9905-025 is a low-voltage model load sharing and speed control from Woodward's 2301A series. These controls are made to work with power sources like diesel engines, gasoline engines, steam turbines, and gas turbines. This model is reverse-acting, so fuel levels will be driven to full in the event of a loss of voltage.This unit also has a tandem actuator system that operates on a current range of 0-200mA.

Control Functionality

The 9905-025 has an adjustable acceleration ramp which can take the system from idle speed to the rated speed between 0-10 seconds. This unit may be operated in isochronous or droop mode and has 0-10% speed trim capability via a 0-100 ohm potentiometer. The rated speed of the 9905-025 is 11,450Hz. This unit does not have the optional deceleration ramp found in some models in this series.

Environmental Specifications

As a low-voltage model, the input voltage range of the 9905-025 is 20-40VDC. The 9905-025 is not CE-marked, but it is CSA compliant for ordinary locations in North America. The unit itself is comprised of a single printed circuit board inside a sheet metal chassis. This unit should be kept in conditions where the temperature does not exceed the recommended -40 to 85 degree Celsius range to ensure longevity of the system.
