About the SAF1005
The SAF1005 Solid-State Air Flow Sensor made for Warren's SAF Air Velocity Switch Series has is an ambient compensated device designed for insertion across a wide array of possible environments. Some of these include its:
- board-based mounting strategy
- socket-based mounting
- possible hard-wiring to a bracket-based mount
The fact that the SAF1005 can be hard-wired in this fashion speaks to its ambient resistance. To be more specific, this SAF1005 Sensor can tolerate close setting tolerances up to +60° C. In addition to this it is classified as a dust-proof model. While this may be the case, the SAF1005 is not hermetically sealed, and is not considered to be protected from harsh maintenance or chemical washing.
