Product Description

Graphite HMI Expansion Plug-In Module GMP2RM00 is a Full PID Control. According to the Graphite HMI Brochure, the inputs for this specific module are dual PID loops. Unfortunately, due to a lack of information regarding this module, it is unknown how the dual PID loops operate. While this controller does not have any control outputs it does have one analog output, the output for this module is a heater current monitor. 

One key feature of a full PID control such as this module is that it can perform integration and configuration PLC development functions within a manner of minutes. Previous modules within this series that required PLC development would take much longer. 

The GMP2RM00 controller will be used with some form of Red Lion’s Crimson software which allows space-saving, this solution allows for reduced external hardware as well as helps simplify installation. Many useful features come with Crimson software which includes but is not limited to the module's ability to enable protocol conversion, remote access, web serving, and data logging quickly and efficiently. Another feature of the GMP2RM00 controller is the Crimson control. The Crimson control from Red Lion enables customers to leverage IEC 61131 programming languages, the programming languages that come with the IEC 61131 leveraging are function block, ladder logic, instruction list, and structured text. The mentioned languages allow for this controller to develop logic codes without an added expense.
