Part of the MM300 series, General Electric Multilin's 12M9-0002-A6 is a PSU that supplies power to the MM300 to enable routine operation. The PSU is placed in slot A of the module bay. The power supply modules are either high voltage or low voltage; the high voltage power of the MM300 functions at a range of 60 to 300 V AC or 64 to 250 V DC and the low voltage power of the MM300 functions at a range of 20 V DC to 60 V DC.
Installation of a new module is straightforward when following the guidelines laid out in Multilin's user manual. Before installing a new module, users should first ensure that control power has been removed from the unit to maximize user safety. After removing control power from the relay, users should note the slot that the original module is currently installed in; modules can only be replaced with like modules, so installing the new module in the wrong slot can lead to system misoperation and technical difficulties. Next, remove the two screws keeping the old module in place and gently unlatch the module after removing the fastening agents. Gently slide the module from its place in the module bay and affix the new module in its place, relatching the new module and screwing the fastening agents back in.
