Product Description

The 750-P5-G5-S5-HI-A20-G is a high power Feeder Distribution Management Relay produced by General Electric Multilin. A part of the 750 series, the 750-P5-G5-S5-HI-A20-G controls and protects feeder distribution systems of medium to large size. Working in tandem with the EnerVista 750 software program, the relay is able to graph, trend, and export data in addition to protecting and controlling the distribution feeder system. The software program has a Plug & Play feature that makes connecting a computer running the program quick and painless.

The 750 also includes a number of protective features such as overcurrent protection, under/overfrequency protection, ground fault protection, and more. The time overcurrent protective feature utilizes two phase TOC elements that include level detectors for each phase. The time overcurrent protective feature works with fifteen different curves, including General Electric Multilin’s own FlexCurve technology. Protective features assist in extending system life and minimizing downtime by shielding system components from harm in the event of a system failure.

The 750-P5-G5-S5-HI-A20-G also has an event recording feature that can record the last 512 events in the system, including date, time, cause, and system parameters at the time of the event. Because some events crop up regularly in the system, the relay also has a filtering system that can exclude these events in its report. Incidents like a power disturbance can fill nearly half the event log, so filtering can be an important process for users seeking a greater understanding of their motor system’s needs.
