Product Description

Equipped with frequency protection and breaker control, General Electric Multilin’s 750-P1-G1-D1-HI-A20-R is a Feeder Management Relay designed to protect and control distribution feeders. The relay may also control and act as a backup protection for transformers, power lines, and buses. The 760 relay’s automatic reclosing feature makes it especially well suited for overhead feeders.

The 750-P1-G1-D1-HI-A20-R works best in conjunction with GE Multilin’s industry leading EnerVista software program. Computers running the EnerVista 750 software program can connect to the relay through the RS232, RS422, or RS485 port. Although the 40-character LCD featured on the front of the 750 is a good option for setpoint configuration and reviewing system status in a pinch, EnerVista’s user interface is vastly improved and easier to navigate. Users can also trend data through the program and export it for further analysis.

The Motorola 68332 32-bit microprocessor and Grid Connect DSTni-LX Turbo 186 16-bit microprocessor control the functions of the relay. The former focuses on measuring logic inputs and analog signals and managing output relays while the latter processes user inputs to EnerVista or the keypad. The Grid Connect microprocessor also works to output display data and to shift the 750-P1-G1-D1-HI-A20-R’s LEDs to their proper status.

The 750-P1-G1-D1-HI-A20-R has a width of seven inches, length of six and a half inches, and a height of eight and a half inches. The relay is housed in a GE Multilin’s standard 750 case, which protects the relay during drawout operations and also has a number of ports to make connections to the relay. It also features a dustproof door which helps to extend system life and deter contaminants from making contact with the relay.
