Product Description

The 6KM$221F50X4A1  is a Fuji Electric/GE AF-300 Micro-$aver II drive.  This unit is built within a NEMA 4 enclosure and comes with an integrated front keypad.  The unit is rated as a 1 HP 240V single-phase drive. 

The drive is designed with a number of programmed fault codes that will show up on the integrated keypad/display.   Function codes include data protection, frequency command, restart attempts, electronic overload,  and DC braking level.  

The 6KM$221F50X4A1 can be used with an input filter to limit RF current flowing into the unit’s main supply circuit.  The proper Filter part for this unit is an EFL-0.75 E9-7.    Without this additional filter, the drive may not meet some statutory requirements since the drive contains high-power semiconductor devices that switch at high speeds.  This can generate a level of electromagnetic emissions. 

The unit is designed for use within humidity levels of 20 to 95 percent, non-condensing.   Ambient temperature should remain between -10 to 50 degrees Celsius.  However, at temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, additional cooling measures may be required.    The unit should be checked on a regular basis for dust accumulation on the cooling fan, cooling fins, or the control board to prevent overheating.   Do not install the unit in areas of significant vibration or where the unit will be in direct contact with moisture or sunlight.
