About the IS420UCSCS2A
The IS420UCSCS2A is a Dual Core Controller from the Mark VIeS Series. This controller was manufactured by GE Energy. The IS420UCSCS2A runs the Mark VIeS Safety control applications used for functional safety loops to achieve SIL 2 and 3 capabilities.
The IS420UCSCS2A has a variety of ports and connectors that allow for external connections to be made. There are five Ethernet ports on the front of the controller, and one Ethernet port on the bottom of the controller that is designed to connect to Predix. There are also two USB ports that are only used for the initial set up of the UDH network IP address or for restoring function.
