New Surplus Factory Package: A completely unused product that is in the original factory package. The package may have been opened for the purpose of pictures, but the product has never been used or installed.

New Surplus AX Control Package: A completely unused product that has been removed from the original factory package. Often due to shelf wear or previous shipping, the factory package is not adequate and must be replaced with an ideal AX Control product package.

Product Description

The IS420ESWBH5A IONet Switch is the fifth and final version of the ESWB hardware. This switch is the same as the previous models except for its fiber ports, this switch has two fiber ports. The two fiber ports on this switch are 100Base-LX10 single-mode fiber ports with LC-type connection; please note that as these ports are single-mode fiber ports an additional single-mode transducer is required; the part number for this transducer is 65G2100–008 which is manufactured by General Electric. 

The operation for this pack is mainly centered on the ability to buffer packets. The IS420ESWBH5A pack is considered a level-one Ethernet switch and will have a continuous stream of multicast and/or broadcast packets that will buffer incoming streams and send them out upon complete reception. Please note that when multiple streams are coming in only one stream can be relieved at a time, all of the remaining streams will have to be buffered at a later time. 

This switch has the ability to be mounted in multiple locations, hazardous and non-hazardous alike as well as in two different orientations. The hazardous locations for the IS420ESWBH5A switch are class one, division two; class two, zone two, and ATEX. The switch will be DIN-rail mounted and positioned on the long edge of the switch either parallel or perpendicular to the rail. When parallel mounted a 259B2451BVP1 clip is required. If this switch is replacing another in a third-party situation the switch can be panel mounted, panel mounting will use the screws that were used with the previous part.
