The IS230TNDTH6A accepts 24 group isolated contact inputs and provides 12 form-C relay outputs. The IS230TNDTH6A needs three PDIO packs given its Triple Modular Redundancy. These packs are connected using D-type connectors.
There are several faults that can be detected on the board. These are:
- Loss of contact input wetting voltage
- Non responding contact input in test mode
The IS230TNDTH6A also accepts an option card to expand relay functions. This is the IS200WROB option board.
