About the IS230TBCIH5C
The IS230TBCIH5C is a Discrete Input Module that was manufactured by GE Energy. The module was designed to be used in the Mark VIe Series. The IS230TBCIH5C is comprised of an IS200TBCI terminal board and up to three PDIA I/O Packs.
IS230TBCIH5C Specifications
The IS230TBCIH5C can be used in either simplex, dual, or TMR applications. In simplex applications, only one PDIA pack will be used. Dual applications require two packs. TMR applications require three PDIA I/O packs.
The IS230TBCIH5C can detect several types of faults using the I/O pack. Some of these faults are:
- Hardware incompatibility fault
- Input open contact state fault
- Excitation voltage threshold fault
If the excitation voltage drops below 40% of the nominal voltage, a threshold voltage fault will occur.
