About the IS230PCAAH1B
The IS230PCAAH1B is a Core Analog I/O Module that was manufactured by GE Energy. This module is part of the Mark VIe Series of Gas Turbine Controls. The IS230PCAAH1B makes up a large portion of the analog signal inputs and outputs required to operation a gas turbine. The IS230PCAAH1B contains a BPPC processor board, along with two application I/O boards, and a TCAS terminal board. There is also an optional TCAT terminal board that can be used.
Input to the IS230PCAAH1B is through dual RJ-45 Ethernet connectors, in addition to a 28 V dc power connector. There are 120 Euro style box type terminal blocks that allow for field device I/O. These terminal blocks are found on the edge of the IS230PCAAH1B.
The IS230PCAAH1B has a variety of terminals. Some of the terminals are:
- Analog 4-20 mA outputs
- LVDT Excitation outputs
- TTL pulse inputs + power
Signals on the IS230PCAAH1B are separated into two different groups. Signal inputs that can be fanned from a single input into a simplex or TMR application are routed through the TCAT terminal board. Signals that are designed for a single PCAA module are wired to the terminals on the PCAA.
