New Surplus Factory Package: A completely unused product that is in the original factory package. The package may have been opened for the purpose of pictures, but the product has never been used or installed.

New Surplus AX Control Package: A completely unused product that has been removed from the original factory package. Often due to shelf wear or previous shipping, the factory package is not adequate and must be replaced with an ideal AX Control product package.

About the H0-ECOM

The H0-ECOM Ethernet Communications module is designed for use on a 10/100 BaseT (twisted pair, copper wire) Ethernet network. The H0-ECOM Ethernet Communications module connects to the network using standard RJ45 modular connectors. 

The H0-ECOM Ethernet Communications module can be used to share data between two or more DirectLOGIC PLCs or between DirectLOGIC PLCs and a laptop, desktop, or other device. The H0-ECOM Ethernet Communications module provides a low-cost, high-speed Ethernet link for DL05 series, DL06 series, and DL405 series PLC devices.

The front of the H0-ECOM Ethernet Communications module provides status indicators.

  • OK The H0-ECOM is powered up and functional.
  • LINK When green, the module is properly connected to the network.
  • ACT Red or flashing red indicates active network data.
  • ERR When red, or flashing red, a fatal error has occurred.

The H0-ECOM can use a laptop, desktop, or other device with a 10/100BaseT network adapter card installed and NetEdit3 software to configure the module over the network. You can also use the NetEdit3 software for troubleshooting some communication problems.

The NetEdit3 software utility can be used to set network identifiers (Module ID or IP Address) and upgrade the firmware in the H0-ECOM module.

Users can also assign a module ID using the DIP switches on the module. Users can make sure of the DIP switches if they want the ability to install or change modules without using a laptop, desktop, or other device to set the Module ID.
