About the H0-CTRIO2
The H0-CTRIO2 is designed to accept high speed pulse type input signals for counting or timing applications. The module can also be used to provide high speed output type signals for stepper/servo motor control and other functions. Some of these other functions are:
- Monitoring
- Alarm
- Discrete Control Functions
The H0-CTRIO2 High Speed Counter Interface contains 2 output points, isolated, either both current sourcing or both current sinking field-effect transistors (FET) outputs. The output voltage range is 5 VDC-36 VDC and the maximum voltage is 36 VDC. The maximum load current is 0.5 A at 23℃ and 0.33 A at 60℃ per point. The pulse output control range is 20 Hz to 250 Hz.
The H0-CTRIO2 High Speed Counter Interface features 4 DC sink/source inputs at 250 kHz maximum. The input voltage range is 9-30 VDC and the maximum voltage is 30 VDC. The H0-CTRIO2 provides 1500 V I/O-to-logic isolation, 1000 V among input channels and all outputs.
The H0-CTRIO2 features 5 LED indicators on the front of the device:
- OK Model OK.
- ERR User program error.
- A Channel 1 function 1 resource state.
- B Channel 1 function 2 resource state.
- Y0 and Y1 Output status.
The CTRIO2 Workbench tool is used to configure the H0-CTRIO. You must perform the configuration with the PLC in RUN mode. Use the H0-CTRIO2 Workbench to assign the input and output points, map the CPU to memory, and configure other functions Be sure to configure the H0-CTRIO2 in program mode. Also, be sure to map the memory before starting the program.
