About the F0-04DAH-2

The Automation Direct and Facts Engineering module F0-04DAH-2 is a high definition analog option output module. This four channel module is compatible with both DirectLogic 05 and DirectLogic 06 series programmable logic controllers. A number of modules are available for DL05/06 expansion, allowing the controller to function in a wide variety of work environments.

This device works to convert the DL05/06’s digital output signal to an analog voltage signal. All four channels on the module are updated on each scan of the PLC’s internal computer. Designed for easy and quick access, the terminal block can be easily removed from the controller without having to rewire the entire unit.

The F0-04DAH-2 has a number of useful features. Some of these are:

• Full 16 bit resolution
• Easy to remove module and terminal block
• 24 VDC Peak Output Voltage protection

The full 16-bit resolution offers high definition data signals to ensure precise and clear measurements. Specific software requirements must be met by the PLC for F0-04DAH-2 to run correctly. If the module is installed in a DL05 controller, firmware version 5.20 (or later) and DirectSOFT32 version 3.0c (or later) is necessary for proper operation. Should it be installed in a DL06 controller, firmware version 2.30 (or later) and DirectSOFT32 version V4.0 build 16 (or later) is required for it to run.
