About the D0-06DD1

The D0-06DD1 is a Programmable Logic Controller from Automation Direct's DirectLOGIC 06 series. This unit can be used to control and monitor industrial devices. The D0-06DD1 has flexible features, including expandable I/O points and multiple communications options.

There are several characteristics for the DL06 Micro PLC Model D0-06DD1 to keep in mind:

• From 100 to 240 VAC/50-60 Hz and 40 VA or lower is the power requirement from an external source.  

• Input voltage: Values are 10.8 at the lowest and 26.4 VDC at the high end (standard/high-speed).

• From 12 to 24 VDC (standard and high-speed inputs) is the voltage rating for the device while operating. Five banks are supported. While 4 inputs in each bank is supported. One common terminal is in each bank (sinking or sourcing) inputs.

• The output voltage range is 5-30 VDC and the operating voltage range is 6-27 VDC for standard and pulse outputs. The 16 sinking DC outputs share a common terminal. 

• The DL06 Micro PLC D0-06DD1 boasts V-memory. The memory is in 16-bit registers.

• There is an​ ​RS–232C​ ​communication​ ​port​ ​and​ ​one​ ​RS232C/RS422/RS485​ ​port. Port 1 has a ​6-pin​ ​modular​ ​connector.​ ​Port​ ​2​ ​is​ ​a​ ​15-pin​ ​HD-sub connector.

The D0-06DD1 can be used with a laptop to program the device. Users can use Port 1 or Port 2 to connect to the laptop.
