About the F0-4AD2DA-2
The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo F0-4AD2DA-2 is a combination analog current module. A combination unit, it features four channel in and two channel out ports. Incoming analog voltage data is converted to digital signals, while outgoing digital signals are converted into analog. The module belongs to a series of devices compatible with DirectLogic 05 and DirectLogic 06 programmable logic controllers.
When installed in the PLC, all input/output channels are updated in a single scan of the microprocessor. User selectable input ranges are a highlighted feature of the module. A jumper switch allows the user to select either 0-5VDC and 0-10VDC input ranges. As the module interacts with a microprocessor, the PLC must have certain software requirements. DL05 controllers need firmware version 3.30 or later and DirectSOFT32 version 3.0c or later. If in a DL06 PLC, install firmware version 1.00 or later and DirectSOFT32 version V4.0, build 16 or later.
