About the F0-08DAH-1
F0-08DAH-1 is an analog current output module manufactured by Automation Direct, Facts Engineering, and Koyo. This unit converts digital signals into analog current signals digestible by peripheral analog devices. These modules directly interface with DirectLogic 05 and DirectLogic 06 programmable logic controllers. Each of the eight channels updates with every scan of the PLC’s internal CPU. These optional units allow the PLC to function in a number of different environments. These modules were designed:
- for easy removal, with no need to rewire the entire unit following removal
- with full 16-bit resolution to allow F0-08DAH-1 to convert these outgoing signals into precise high quality digital data
- to support firmware version 5.20 or later and DirectSOFT32 version 3.0c or later
Should a DL06 controller be used, firmware version 2.30 or later and DirectSOFT32 version 4.0, build 16 or later is required. Following proper storage and installation parameters for F0-08DAH-1 are necessary to maintain the module. When in use and installed into a controller, ambient temperatures can range from 0℃ to 55℃, or 32℉ to 131℉. If the module is placed in storage, ambient temperatures can vary a bit more. Storage temperatures can range as low as -20℃, or -4℉, and as high as 70℃, or 158℉. Technical support for this module was originally provided by the manufacturer, Automation Direct.
