The D0-10ND3 is a 10-point DC input module that is a member of the DirectLogic 05 Series manufactured by Automation Direct. It is equipped with 10 sink/source inputs and has an input voltage range from 10.8 Volts DC to 26.4 Volts DC with a peak voltage of 30.0 Volts DC. There are two typical input current ratings for the D0-10ND3. If operating at 12 Volts DC, the input current is 4.0 milliamps. However, if the module is operating with an input current of 24 Volts DC, it has a typical input current of 8.5 milliamps. The absolute maximum input current for this input module is 11 milliamps when operating at 26.4 Volts DC. The D0-10ND3 has a rated input impedance of 2.8 Kohm when operating within the rated input voltage of 12 to 24 Volts DC. If the module is powered on, the voltage level is greater than 10 Volts DC. However, if the module is powered off, the voltage level is less than 2.0 Volts. DC. The minimum current when powered on is 3.5 milliamperes and the minimum current when powered off is 0.5 milliamps. When powering the unit on or off, there is a response time that ranges from 2 to 8 milliseconds, or 4 milliseconds typically. This module is designed with an LED status indicator that glows green when the module is active. There are 2 isolated commons with 5 points per common. Please note that the D0-10ND3 10-point DC input module is not equipped with a fuse. This unit does require a base power of 5 volts with a typical current of 35 milliamps when all points are on.
