The DL05 Micro PLC Model D0-05DR features operating modes that are accessed through a switch on the device or are available from a handheld programming device or optional DirectSOFT 5 programming software. The modes enable programming functions. Some of the various electrical ratings for this unit are:

• an external power requirement of 95-240 VAC, 30 W maximum
• an input voltage range of 10.8-26.4 VDC
• an operating voltage range of 12-24 VDC
• a relay output voltage range of 5 -264 VAC (47 -63 Hz), 5-30 VDC
• an operating voltage range of  6-240 VAC (47-63 Hz), 6-27 VDC
• an ambient operating temperature of  32ºF-131ºF (0º to 55ºC)
• an ambient humidity of 5 to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing)

D0-05DR Hardware and I/Os

Some of the hardware elements that the DL05 Micro PLC Model D0-05DR has include:

• two RS–232C communication ports
• 8 DC inputs
• 6 relay contact outputs
• data storage in V-memory in 16-bit registers
• advanced internal diagnostics

Port 1 on the D0-05DR is a 6-pin modular connector that can be connected to a handheld programming device, an operator interface, or other device containing optional programming software, such as DirectSOFT 5. Port 2 is a 6-pin modular connector and it offers RS-232 communications only. Inputs are organized into two banks of four. Each bank has an isolated common terminal, and may be wired as either sinking or sourcing inputs. Outputs are organized into two banks of three relay contacts. Each bank has a common terminal.
