About the D0-05DD-D
The DL05 Micro PLC Model D0-05DD-D has two RS–232C communication ports and 8 DC inputs and 6 DC outputs. Port 1 on the D0-05DD-D is a 6-pin modular connector that can be connected to a programming device containing optional programming software. Port 2 is a 6-pin modular connector and it offers RS-232 communications only. The DL05 Micro PLC D0-05DD-D offers data storage in V-memory in 16-bit registers and advanced internal diagnostics. Some of the relevant diagnostic ratings and ranges for this D0-05DD-D include:
- an external power requirement of 12-24 VDC, 20 W maximum
- an input voltage range at .8-26.4 VDC
- an operating voltage range of 12-24 VDC
- an output voltage range of 5-30 VDC
- an operating voltage range of 6-27 VDC
The six current sinking DC output channels use terminals on the right side of the connector. All outputs share the same electrical common. Inputs are organized into two banks of four. Each bank has an isolated common terminal and can be configured as either sinking or sourcing inputs. The ambient operating temperature is 32ºF-131ºF (0º-55ºC) and the ambient humidity is 5 to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
The D0-05DD-D features operating modes that are accessed through a switch on the device and are available from a handheld programming device, or optional DirectSOFT 5 programming software. The modes are useful for programming activities.
