Configure Your D60 Line Distance Relay

The Multilin D60 Line Distance Relay is a distance protection relay that can provide transmission lines and cables with high speed transmission line protection as a cost effective solution. The D60 Series provides protection, monitoring, communication, control, and metering all in the same device. The D60 relays can be used with cables and lines that are either overhead or underground. These relays can also serve as backup protection for generators, transformers, and reactors. 

The D60 provides independent ground and phase distance (5 zones) with 6 optional zones and subcycle performance. The D60 also has power swing detection, under and overvoltage protection, and breaker failure protection. The Multilin D60 relay features advanced health diagnostics that run tests before start up and while the module is running to determine if any critical conditions have occurred. 

The D60 Series devices additionally have highly capable automation features. One of these features is the FlexLogic programmable logic engine that provides custom protection and control. The inclusion of FlexLogic reduces the need for auxiliary components and wires. The D60 has CyberSentry capabilities, which is a software for cybersecurity. CyberSentry includes an Event Recorder that records all cybersecurity related events in the SOE sense. The D60 Line Distance Relay provides high speed transmission line protection.
