Configure Your F60 Feeder Protection Universal Relay

The Multilin F60 Feeder Protection Universal Relay Series is designed for feeder protection, control, and monitoring/metering. The F60s are primary control devices for solidly, impedance, or resonant grounded systems. The F60s can also be used in busblocking/interlocking schemes or throw over schemes. These devices have high speed fault detection for arc flash mitigation, and provide backup protection for transmission lines, transformers, and feeders. 

There are many protective features that the F60s have. Some of these features are downed conductor detection, directional overcurrent protection, and frequency rate of change protection. The F60s also have fault and disturbance recording capabilities. There can be up to 1024 events recorded on the F60s. The devices have health diagnostics including a comprehensive test both at start up and while the device is running. 

The F60s have advanced communications capabilities for remote engineering and data access. There are three available Ethernet ports on the F60s, in addition to a redundant Ethernet option and embedded managed Ethernet switch. Different protocols can be met using the F60s, including DNP, Modbus, and Ethernet Global Data. The F60s also allow for Direct I/O messaging to and from other devices. This series was designed to protect, control, and monitor feeder systems.
