Configure Your B90 Bus Differential Relay

The Multilin B90 is a bus differential system that provides low impedance bus protection for reconfigurable LV to EHV busbars. One B90 can be used to protect up to 8 feeders, while three or more B90s can be used in a centralized phase-segregated architecture to protect up to 24 feeders. The B90s can be used to protect many types of busbar applications, including single, double, triple, and breaker and a half. 

There are a range of protection features that the Multilin B90 has. Some of these features are segregated bus differential protection, overcurrent protection, and breaker failure protection. The B90 also has fault and disturbance recording. This feature monitors events that occur within the system and alerts users to any faults that may occur. There are also health diagnostic tests that the B90 can perform during start up and run states. 

The B90 devices come with CyberSentry for a variety of cyber security features. There are three core programs that come standard with CyberSentry. These programs are AAA Server Support, Role Based Access Control and Event Recorder. The B90 also has Direct I/O Messaging. This feature allows for an information exchange between multiple UR relays. The B90s are designed to provide bus protection for different types of busbars.
