About the IS420UCSDH1A
Quad-Core 1.6 GHz AMD V1000-Series Processor Controller IS420UCSDH1A is part of the Mark VIe Series produced by General Electric. This specific controller is labeled as a Mark VIe Controller making it similar if not nearly identical to the UCSC controller. As the two controllers are both Mark VIe quad-core controllers it indicates that the UCSD controller is also equipped with a QNX Neutrino real-time multi-tasking capable operating system with real-time hypervisor technology. These applications allow the IS420UCSDH1A controller to run highly reliable high-speed industrial applications. With these applications, the controller also has the capability to apply Predix cloud-based applications with Embedded Field Agent Technology allowing for real-time data to be delivered over a secure web application.
With the equipped IONet the IS420UCSDH1A controller can run a number of applications and firmware of the Mark VIe series, note that while the IONet is used in different applications it can only support Mark control I/O packs and controllers. External data can be transferred both to and from the system database when the controller is using the IONet interfaces.
As this controller is similar to the UCSC controller it can be used with ControlST V07.01 software and can be used in TMR (Triple Modular Redundant) simplex, and dual redundancy applications. This controller also has three platform configuration-supported features, these features are EFA, embedded PPNG, and embedded EtherCAT configurations. The IS420UCSDH1A controller has six Ethernet ports, five of which are on the front panel with one of them being on the bottom which allows for Predix connectivity.
