New Surplus Factory Package: A completely unused product that is in the original factory package. The package may have been opened for the purpose of pictures, but the product has never been used or installed.

New Surplus AX Control Package: A completely unused product that has been removed from the original factory package. Often due to shelf wear or previous shipping, the factory package is not adequate and must be replaced with an ideal AX Control product package.

Reconditioned: All products that qualify as reconditioned have completed AX Control's thorough and detailed QA process and meet the requirements of excellent working condition and excellent cosmetic condition.

About the IS220PPROS1B

The IS220PPROS1B is a Backup Turbine Protection I/O pack from the Mark VIe Series. This module was manufactured by GE Energy. The IS220PPROS1B and its associated components, including terminal boards, provide an independent backup overspeed protection system. This system also includes a backup check for generator synchronization to a utility bus. 

IS220PPROS1B Configurations

Three PPRO packs make up the system, along with a terminal board. There are multiple configurations that can create the system. These configurations are:

  • Three TMR PPRO packs mounted to a separate simplex protection (SPRO) terminal board 
  • Three PPRO packs mounted on a TMR TPROH#C terminal board
  • Three PPRO packs directly on a TREA board for a single board TMR protection system 
IS220PPROS1B Trip Boards 

There is also a designated emergency trip board. This can be one of three boards. These boards are:

  • TREG
  • TREL 
  • TRES 

The IS220PPROS1B can monitor the operation of the primary control and the primary speed as a sign of normal operation. The pack also monitors the status and operation of the trip board through a comprehensive set of feedback signals.
