Using an easily downloadable app, users can monitor and control their human-machine interface just like they were standing in front of it. Using an iPhone, iPod, iPad, or Android mobile device, users can access most of the main features of their C-More panel. Amazon Fire devices will also work. Feature access includes:
- Multilevel Access Control. Remote accounts can have access to full control, view only, and view and screen change only access.
- Multilevel Log-on Security. Create up to three remote access user accounts. Up to five remote users can use each account connection simultaneously.
- Remote monitor and control options. Use the C-more touch panel through your connected device.
- Jpeg screen capture. Review, print, and email options available.
- Zoom in on specific objects. Zoom feature allows for close inspection of screen objects. Screen capture/save is possible.
- Disable/Enable, Activation/Notification Tagging. Each account has user-configurable tagging options. Tags can alert operators when remote users connect. Disable and Enable tags allow local operators to remove remote access if security or safety reasons require this.
It is important to note that the remote connection of any device comes with associated security risks. Password protection is only the first step in security. Make sure to use a virtual private network (VPN) to reduce any chance of unauthorized connections.
