Product Description

This module is one of the many units in the Legacy Display Series of devices. These devices are products from the industrial line of Xycom, which is a subsidiary of the Pro-face Digital Electronics Corporation. The GP370-SC31-24V unit is one of the 5-inch resistive touch screen graphic interface modules in this lineup.

The GP370-SC31-24V unit is outfitted with a standard set of components and hardware. The GP370-SC31-24V unit is designed with a full-color liquid crystal display, with a super twisted nematic configuration. The colors consist of 8 different hues (white, blue, red, yellow, magenta, cyan, and black), with different tiling patterns allow for several blends of colors to be displayed. The unit is also outfitted with a backlight, a compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) unit. The CFL light is able to last for up to 2 years, provided the GP370-SC31-24V is operational within the acceptable ambient temperature range (0 to 50 C).

The GP370-SC31-24V is a ruggedized HMI designed for industrial applications. However, proper installation is key to maintaining this unit for its longest life. Make sure to mount the GP370-SC31-24V in a vertical panel away from other parts (at least 100 mm clearance.) This allows for proper heat dissipation and maintains UL standard requirements. --AX Control Tech Team
