Featuring the enhanced faceplate and closed breaker red LEDs, General Electric Multilin’s 750-P5-G1-S1-LO-A1-R-E is a Feeder Distribution Management Relay perfect for medium to large-sized systems. This unit is a low control power model, functioning at a range of 88 to 300 VDC, 70 to 265 VAC at 48 to 62 Hz. It accepts 5 A phase current inputs and 1 A zero sequence current inputs and sensitive ground current inputs. The relay is housed in a standard SR 750 series chassis.

The 750-P5-G1-S1-LO-A1-R-E relay runs based on a system of highly configurable programmed settings called ‘setpoints’. Setpoints can adjust anything from what values display on the LCD when not in use to the time intervals before which trips and alarms are activated by the system. Due to the vast array of potential configurations, the 1601-0120-AE manual should be thoroughly reviewed before beginning the process. Setpoint management can be protected by both hardware and a passcode, limiting the potential for unauthorized adjustments to system management.

The relay is able to safely function at a temperature range of negative forty degrees Fahrenheit to positive one-hundred and forty degrees. It can be stored at a slightly larger range, negative forty degrees to one-hundred and sixty degrees. An optional conformal coating, applicable by AX Control’s staff upon request, can provide further protection against harsh temperatures (in addition to dust, chemical corrosion, and humidity). Other key benefits of this unit include draw-out construction, built-in metering functions, I/O monitoring, built-in simulation features, and flash memory. Installed flash memory will allow for field upgrades. The unit has a choice of fifteen curve shapes and multipliers and has instantaneous or linear reset time characteristics. The unit also offers manual close control, cold load pickup control, and synchronism check. The last 256 events are captured and stored, by date, cause, and time, or can be stored selectively. Breaker trip operations are also recorded.
