The IS215ACLEH1B is an Application Control Layer (ACL) module for the Mark VI Speedtronic system from General Electric.  This is a master controller that is used for several applications within the control system using communication protocols like Ethernet and ISBus.   These components are sometimes used within EX2100 exciters. 

The IS215ACLEH1B is fashioned with an attached front faceplate.  The faceplate has multiple mounted connectors on its surface.  These include female COM ports, Ethernet ports, and ISBus ports with LED indicators built into their surface.  There is also a single reset switch, two sets of LED indicators (one for status indications and one that indicates various states) as well as two set screws that help lock the board in place after it has been mounted into a rack system. 

The IS215ACLEH1B includes hardware like a central processing unit, a PCI controller, and a 128 KB level 2 cache.  The board has 4 MB of flash memory utilizing BIOS setup utility.   The module can interface with a keyboard using the keyboard controller and an adapter cable.   Some versions of the board also utilize a daughterboard that further expands the capabilities of the module.  This is typically an IS200 ISBA board.  The board is configured using the GE Control System Toolbox.
