The IS200EMIOH1A is a excitation board manufactured by General Electric GE as part of their EX2100 Excitation Control System. This EMIO board serves the specific role as the Exciter Main I/O (Input/Output) Board in the Exitation Control Rack. The IS200EMIOH1A board interfaces with the EPCT Board and receives signals relating to the CT Current Input readings and the Analog Input Value. Another critical function that the EMIO Modules serves is that it sends logic level gate pulse signals via the racks backplane to be received by the ESEL Board.

Because the IS200EMIOH1A is a Main Input/Output Card, the board is a single slot, double height VME-style board.  The IS200EMIOH1A manages input/output signals like output relay drivers, contact inputs, PT and CT signals, and pilot trip relay drivers from terminal boards like the EXTB, EACF, EPCT, and EACF.  

The IS200EMIOH1A has a front faceplate attached to its front edge.  The faceplace has two LEDs (light emitting diodes) that are used as a Power indicator and as a Status indicator.  The faceplate is marked with the manufacturer’s logo as well as with the board number.

The IS200EMIOH1A has two backplane connectors, labeled P1 and P2.  The surface of the board is populated with over 400 capacitors, 400 resistors, and 50 diodes.  There are several TP test points and transistors located on its surface. The board has nearly 80 integrated circuits, including a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array.)   The surface of the board is factory-drilled at each corner. The full part number can be in the center of the PCB and will include two letter revisions that follow the critical "A" revision.
