Product Description
The IS200DSPXH1C is printed circuit board (PCB) from General Electric that was created as a part of the Mark VI Speedtronic System to act as a Digital Signal Processor Control Board (DSPX.) The MKVI was one of the last of the Speedtronic systems created and marketed by General Electric for the control of gas and steam industrial turbine systems. It offers triple modular redundant control, ethernet capabilities, and a Windows-based operating system.
The IS200DSPXH1C is used in both Innovation series drives as well as EX2100 exciters. It is used for field control, for gating functions, and for bridge and motor regulator control. It can store a variety of data using NVRAM, RAM, flash memory, and add-only memory.
The IS200DSPXH1C is one of seven variations of the DSPX board. It runs at 60MHz. The board has multiple specialized hardware functions including two 5 Mb/s ISBus interfaces that can be used as either master or slave and one asynchronous interface to a programmer board that includes TX, RX, and RTS data signals. It also has synchronizing load pulse signals that can capture the value of inputs or outputs like motor, bridge, or generator voltages. The board also has two PWM outputs. The outputs are at 24kHz fixed frequency and are used to drive various outputs like instrumentation meters.
