Product Description
The IS200DSPXH1B is a Digital Signal Processor Control Board (DSPX) made by GE for its Innovation Series of drives.
The IS200DSPXH1B’s main purpose is to control the motor regulator, the bridge regulator, and all gating functions. It has the ability to control the EX2100 exciter’s generator field control applications. This system can provide interfacing capabilities, processing power, and logic functions. This board has standard Innovation Series memory components, a high-performance digital signal processor, and the ability to perform custom logic functions using application-specific integrated circuits. This card uses a combination of flash memory, RAM, NVRAM, and add-only memory to store a variety of data.
The front of the IS200DSPXH1B has two LED indicators that are labeled Status and Fault. It has an HS serial port and another pin connection port labeled EMUL. The internal circuitry of this PCB includes a P1 card slot connection, a P7 male pin connector, 16 integrated circuits, 7 resistor networks, 3 transistors, and 6 ferrite beads. There are also numerous capacitors, resistors, and diodes on the card.
When installing the IS200DSPXH1B, it is important to place it into the correct card slot on the storage rack assembly. Failure to do so could result in damage to the electronics because the card slots are keyed to specific boards. To prevent any type of static damage to this board, always store it in anti-static bags or boxes and always use a grounding wristband when handling this component.
