The DS2020DACAG2 is a Speedtronic Mark V General Electric Power Conversion Module (DACA). Being a part of this Speedtronic legacy series, it has become increasingly difficult to locate. AX Control does still makes every attempt to keep it in stock as a refurbished or new surplus part.

The DS2020DACAG2 is sometimes also referred to as a transformer assembly. This DACA has the ability to transform VAC power to VDC power. This module can be used with the primary power source even if it is using a battery backup or not. It also has the ability to help the control system when it has lost power by giving it a little extra local energy storage which will give it an additional ride-through time. This module does not have the capacity to perform its own diagnostics. It also can not monitor its input or output levels. A separate device within the power distribution system will handle those functions. The DACA should only be used in specific environments that are free of corrosive and combustible materials. It should also only be used between the temperatures of -30 to +65 degrees Celsius and between 5-95% non-condensing humidity.

The DS2020DACAG2 has the ability to be floor mounted in the drive cabinet using distinct brackets and bolts. There are four brackets on this device and using bolts to help mount it to the floor will ensure that the DACA has a secure mounting. The DS2020DACAG2 has a series of wires that are grouped together and secured using zip-ties. The zip-ties on these wires will help them not to become tangled.
