Product Description
DS200ADMAH1A (ADMA) is an analog to digital module daughterboard developed by General Electric. A member of the Mark V board series, this daughterboard can be applied to a number of GE brand drives and exciters. Cutouts in the metal faceplate of this board allow it to easily install on top of the drive’s DS200DSPC (DPSC) board. When installed, this card buffers, filters, and converts analog and digital I/O fed to the drive.
Use of the DS200ADMAH1A board ensures that all system I/O is accurately read, converted, and transmitted. In addition to those provided by the drive, this daughterboard supports an additional twelve analog inputs. Four analog outputs are also included on this card. Digital I/O communications can be relayed via the eight digital input and output ports accessible on the board. An onboard programmable logic device is featured on this unit. By using static RAM, the logic device works to provide interfacing capabilities between the ADMA I/O and the DSPC processor buses. Two LED indicators, as well as one green IMOK LED and one red FAIL LED are displayed on the board to alert users to any errors or faults.
Installation parameters provided with the device should be followed. This will ensure that the DS200ADMAH1A as well as the installed drive operate as intended. For a complete guide to wiring and installing the daughterboard to the DSPC please refer to both the device manual and datasheet. General Electric, the manufacturer of the Mark V series, was the original provider of technical support for this card.
