This manufacturer is based in Durham, North Carolina, and has several cost-effective, powerful motion controller units. The PMAC-LITE unit is a part of the PMAC1 family of CPU circuit boards. It is specified to operate as a full-sized ISA bus expansion circuit board. It is completely capable of ISA bus communication functionalities whether or not it is outfitted with dual-ported RAM, and it is not required to be inserted into an ISA expansion port.
These modules are optimized to be able to interface with compatible servo drives via its analog inputs that are outfitted for torque and motor velocity based applications.
This unit is outfitted to be capable of at least eight axes of control and has four channels connected by the onboard axis interface circuitry. The standard network communications are done by utilizing either the RS-232 or RS-422 serial ports.
The PMAC-LITE is outfitted with up to 128k x 24 SRAM of active memory and includes 8 EPROM for the firmware.
The other ports integrated into the PMAC-LITE board are a display port, a control panel port, and muxed and direct Input/Output interface ports.
